Your creative work belongs strictly to you. Story Roots is designed around a local-first philosophy: we do not collect, store, monitor, or harvest your 3D scenes, storyboards, camera plots, or video exports. Everything you create remains locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

• License Verification Data: To activate and validate your annual subscription, the application periodically connects to our merchant infrastructure (Creem.io). This process transmits only the minimum necessary cryptographic tokens required to confirm license status.

• Website Analytics & Logs: Visiting our website (hosted via Infomaniak and Squarespace) processes standard, non-identifying technical log data (e.g., anonymized IP address, browser type, device OS) strictly for security enforcement and traffic analytics.

• Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed securely through our Merchant of Record (Creem.io or Microsoft Store). We do not collect or store credit card numbers or financial details on our systems.

3. Data Storage & Security

Project files and audiovisual assets generated in Story Roots are saved locally on your local hardware. You maintain complete control over your file backups and security.

4. Data Rights (GDPR / Global)
